Meet the Designer

As the lead designer for Lauren Smyth Design, Lauren has taken her career in stride. Starting with her first Interior Design internship at sixteen years old and later graduating with honors from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles in 2011. After completing school, Lauren moved back to her hometown of Boise, Idaho and got to work starting her own business and collaborating with a handful of remodeling contractors. Four years later, Lauren onboarded with Alturas Homes and spent six years designing an average of 80+ homes a year and growing her online audience by providing production homes with a sense of captivating yet sensible design. Currently, Lauren’s focus is designing for high end residential clients on new construction or whole home remodels in limited quantities.
